Gua Selarong

Selarong Cave is a cave located in the historically charged in Hamlet Kembangputihan, Pajangan District, Bantul, DI Yogyakarta Province. The cave is formed in the hills of this Rube stone used as guerrilla headquarters of Prince Diponegoro in the Java War (1825-1830) against the army of the Dutch East Indies. Pangeran Diponegoro moved to the cave after his home in Tegalrejo attacked and burned by the Dutch.

History
