Opened in 2007 this water park is a
popular destination for residents from
Solo. Pandawa Water World is easy to
find, located 4km south of Solo
center, between Solo and Sukoharjo,
in Pandawa Solo Baru Complex to be
exact.
Pandawa Water world is designed
based on Javanese Wayang figures.
There are 27 water attractions at this
park like the Action River, Fantastic
Slide, hot spa, lookout tower, bima
slide, raft slide, Gatotkaca Bungy
Tower, etc. The most popular
attraction is the Kresna Wave pool, a
pool with artifical waves so swimming
here makes you feel a bit like you are
at a beach. Another popular attraction
is the Black Hole Slide Attraction, you
will get an adrenaline rush while you
slide down in the dark.
Good and cheap food can be obtained
at the food court. Most water parks
are ideal if you have children as there
are many attractions specifically for
the youngsters. It is good to know
safety is a priority here; at every
attraction are two life guards and
there is a doctor standing by.
