Pasar Kembang Solo

Flower Market is located on the road Dr. Rajiman, Kalurahan Sriwedari, District Laweyan Surakarta City. This market stands on an area of ​​approximately 1.409m2. As the name implies there is a market in Solo that specialized in selling flowers (flower) such as roses, jasmine, magnolia, which bought a lot of time to spread on a pilgrimage to the tomb or sow flowers in the sea is better known as the procession "nyekar". In this market occasionally seen also vendors selling fruit although only slightly.
Original location of this market is the park. In 1963 started popping up a lot of traders to the north of the park. Because the number of traders more and more, then in 1970 established a market called the Flower Market. In 2006 Flower Market obtain the allocation of funds to renovate the market building.
